Down the street from where I work, a water main broke. Crews anticipate that our water will be off all day. Typically, in office situations, people go home after lunch when there is no water. But not at the university. Our team of facility managers have brought in a bank of porta potties. It is cold and we are all dressed up in professional attire, but, for the administration, the important thing is that we forge ahead. An interesting day indeed. Off to the holiday party!
